Playtime
Waiting for the ball
I love to play with my ball on a rope. I got Paula to throw it into the hallway for me she was good at that. We played for a long time until I lay down, I dont want to tire her out. Dylan watched but did not seem to want join in.
Bedtime is different here, we go out onto the grass just before going to bed and I wear my lead, you never now Colin may stray, after that I sleep in the bedroom on a thick knitted blanket. Dylan sleeps at the foot of their bed he asks to go out sometimes and shouts when he wants to come back in. He has both Paula and Colin trained very well, he is to be respected for that.
Here I am waiting for Colin to throw the ball it is fun and he is learning to throw it into the hallway.

Going for Walks
Finding the right stick and a Moorhen
My first walk was interesting we got ready and after sorting things
out like poop bags, keys, phone and the sticks they like to carry and walk with we were ready.
We walked what they called 'The long way to the shop' a nice walk full of interesting scents.
Trees, bushes and grass grow on both sides of the path. Lots of children were about all rushing to get into what Paula called School. I waited with Colin as Paula went into the shop, people walked past and some arrived in cars before they too went into the shop. We walked back home a shorter way, nice but not as interesting.
My next walk was the best, I have been on this walk before, Colin calls it 'Down to the Canal'. This walk is great, lots of places to explore and a wonderful array of scents. Squirrels seem to be around a lot, other dogs and cats all seem to like this walk.
Lots of trees to inpsect and as we sat next to the water for a while I saw a strange bird. I made an odd noise and bobbed about on the water it had a red cap on and a red beak Paula said it was a Moorhen.
On the way back home Colin let me off the lead, he must feel safer now, he threw sticks, he seemed to like that and was very good at it. I kept him amused until I thought he was tired. I carried the stick back home as he seemed to like that one.
This is me and Colin hunting for the right stick to throw, see what I mean Moorhens have funny little hats low down on their heads.
